Advent Book of Meditations 2008If you wish to receive a daily Advent Devotional email, please scroll down and submit your name and email address at the bottom of this page. You may also view the book as a word document below. Dear Church Family, The holidays are full of special traditions. One of my favorites is reading the annual Advent Meditations written by my church friends. They have made me laugh, cry, think and reflect. All have powerful messages that I am sure you will enjoy. Thanks to all the authors for saying "Yes" when I called. Thank you for being both thoughtful and prayerful in preparing your reflection. I am sure that each one will touch readers in a special way. Thanks to Tony Nolan for the cover of our book and Patti Price for the hours she spent helping me through every step of the process. As an elementary school teacher, I have a lot of experience with the ABC's. This year's Advent Book of Meditations is designed as an "ABC" Book. Most of us grew up knowing that "A" is for apple, "B" is for boy and "C" is for cat. During the Advent season, try and substitute the following to help you remember the true meaning of the season
"A" is for Accept ¼ Christ in your life;
"B" is for Believe ¼that Christ died for you
and
"C" is for Commit ¼ to develop a closer walk with Jesus.
Merry Christmas!
