Children's Choirs

If you are old enough to talk, you can join the music ministry at Southside United Methodist Church!  Children's Choirs perform several times a year at worship services and Wednesday Night Fellowship during the school calendar year.  

Children's Choir performances are listed on the Church Calendar, so visit it to see when your little one will be signing in worship.

Littlest Angels - PreK 3-Kindergarten (must be 3 by Sept. 1st). 

This choir provides beginning social and musical experience and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM - 7 PM.   Leader: Tracy Langley.

Cherub Choir- 1st and 2nd Grades.

Singers are taught beginning musical skills, including pitch memory and rhythmic development. Simple anthems are presented in the worship service on a regular basis and for Family Night Dinners including a Spring Music Show. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM - 7 PM.  Leaders: Katie Zahn, Kit Thomas, Rebecca Garner

Wesley Choir - 3rd - 5th Grades.

Singers are taught advanced musical skills, including pitch memory and rhythmic development. Anthems are presented in the worship service on a regular basis and for Family Night Dinners including a Spring Musical Show. The choir also presents major musicals and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM - 7 PM.  Leader: Heather Johnson
