Friends Ministry - Adults w/cognitive disabilities

The Friends class is one of the oldest ministries of our church. Started 30 years ago by Mrs. Burma Davis, this class ministers to adults with cognitive impairments and disabilities. It has grown to become one of the largest single church programs for these persons in the state serving around 30 people each Sunday. We enjoy Sunday School and worship, choir, working on the sanctuary refurbishment committee, women's circle, and special fieldtrips around Georgia and Florida.

We have a wonderful Sunday School curriculum and have many volunteers helping each Sunday and Wednesday night. If you know of someone with a cognitive disability that might like a church to call home, come and join us every Sunday at 9AM for worship in our Contemporary Service and Sunday School at 10 AM. If you would like to help with this wonderful group, call us and let us know. Limited transportation pickup can be provided for those living in the vicinity of the church.
