For Adults
Passing the Baton 6 PM - 7:30 PM, Family Life Center Study Leader: Pastor Dale Tedder (d.tedder@southsidemethodist.org)Passing the Baton is for parents of children & youth (and any other parents who would like to attend).
The emphasis will be on how we as parents (and as a church) can help our children make a way in this world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Here's a description of the course... "Every church knows that it lives or dies by how its members invest in the next generation. Yet many adults are busy, unequipped or afraid. The Passing the Baton Training Course is a mobilizing tool that shows Christian adults how to mentor, coach and disciple the next generation in a fun, natural and stress-free way."
For Children
Children's Summer Nights 6 PM - 7:30 PM, Family Life Center Leader: Angie Cosper (a.cosper@southsidemethodist.org) Children whose parents are participating in the Passing the Baton study are welcome to join us for games, crafts & other activities that bring to life the week's bible verse through fun themes - Sports Spectacular, Painting Pottery, Pirates & Princesses & More! Nursery will also be available for younger children.For Youth
Swim & Study 6 PM - 8 PM, Amy Franks' home Leader: Amy Franks (a.franks@southsidemethodist.org)Youth, stop by for a cook-out and swim follwed by a poolside Bible study on Sunday nights.
