How Your Open Box of Bandaids Can Make a Difference
Did you know that 30 SUMC members are traveling to Guatemala to be the hands and feet of Christ? The team consists of 16 Youth and 14 adults. The team will join with the Mission2Guatemala program that has established relationships with the Mayans and helps coordinate incoming mission teams to prepare and serve the needs of the people of Guatemala. Daily activities include: hosting Vacation Bible School, roofing, painting, and providing a medical clinic.
The team begins packing supplies next Sunday, so if each of our church family and friends grabs one item from their homes or grocery store, we should be able to fill our 30 suitcases with supplies to leave with the Mayan individuals and medical clinics.
