Changes to Wednesday Nights!!! Read About It and Come See What's New!

As a staff we are trying to bring some more fellowship time and organization to our Wednesday family dinner as the congregation indicated was needed by recent surveys. Would you please help us by having children remain with you at the table in the FLC during the dinner time? We hope the following changes will foster a more relaxing evening and blessing for all. Read what is new, based on your feedback!!!

Later Start & Extended Eating Time: 5:30-6:15 PM, so families can arrive & eat together!

Get home earlier! All programs, groups, and (kids) choirs end at 7 PM.

Utensils, Napkins, Desserts Pre-set on tables in family section. Yea Moms! This means fewer trips up and down...fewer opportunities for your children to wait unsupervised while you return, and more time to eat and relax!

Second Drink Station in Family Section with pitchers for easy transport of beverages.

Additional garbage cans located near door of Children's Building. Easier to clear your table and drop your trash on way out doors.

New FLC Speed Limit ~ 1 MPH. Parents, please help us create a safer environment for all by asking your children to refrain from running during dinner time in the Family Life Center.

The Chicken Clause: Ask for baked chicken and/or a dinner-size salad as an alternative adult meal.

Survey Results on Programming

Your top three suggestions include the topics: 1) Spiritual Growth/Walking with Christ, 2) Teachings on Biblical Topics, and 3) Speakers from Community. In response, we will be hosting some special guest speakers from our community this Fall that will focus on these areas. Adult Program - 6 PM, Program: Solace for the Children Host Families Share. Family Life Center

Youth Small Groups - 6:15 PM, Various Locations.

September 15th

Children's Choirs Begin - 6:10 PM Dismissal from Family Life Center. 7 PM Pick-Up from Choir Rooms.

Guest Speaker: Tom Rossi, dynamic teacher and speaker. Some of you might remember Tom, an Elder at River City Church, as he spoke at Youth Week last year. He will be bringing a fresh perspective to some well-known passages about the Kingdom of God. Tom often sprinkles his talks with multi-media and a bit of humor. 6:15 PM, Family Life Center.

Kim Skinner, well-known Christian speaker in our community. Kim seeks to share the message of Christ through personal testimony, encouragement, and teaching.
