Discovery Class – This class was started as a "young adult" Sunday School Class in the late 1980's. We welcome all people of all ages, married and single. The ages of our members generally range from 30 to 50. Barry Henry is currently our regular class leader. Other members may teach periodically. We use a variety of materials and lesson types, including small and large group discussion, current events related to Biblical teachings, video lesson series, and role-playing. Our class is committed to continuous Bible study, Christian witness through community outreach and service, church family life activities, and care-giving for class members and other members of our congregation. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
Location: Room 204 of the Education Building.
Friends' Class - This group is made up of approximately 50 mentally challenged adults. The average attendance is 35 each Sunday. Organized by Burma Davis, the class is taught by a dedicated team of teachers. (Contact: David and Chris Harrill). Visitors are always welcome.

Francis Asbury Class – The group enjoys singing the great traditional hymns of the faith, studying the scriptures in their historical context, and making application of Biblical principles in our daily Christian lives. We support a number of outreach projects as needs are identified but have a particular interest in providing music scholarships and various gifts and supplies to the Florida UM Children's Home. John Cobb teaches on the second Sunday of each month; Sissy Moore teaches the remaining Sundays.
Location: Room 203, second floor of Educational Building.
Heritage Class - The class uses the Adult Bible Study series and is taught by a regular rotation of four teachers. A class of our founders and seniors. The group also meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. for a covered dish dinner and program. Class business is discussed at these meetings, and everyone enjoys the wonderful fellowship. The Heritage Class is a group of friendly, caring people.
Location: Langley Chapel, located adjacent to the Sanctuary (Sunday morning location).
The Life Class - 30's and 40's, who are simply committed to being disciples of Jesus Christ. We strive to constantly renew our minds and encourage each other to submit our whole selves to God, bringing God's Word into every sphere of our lives. Our Bible studies have included studies on discipling our families, Biblical conflict resolution, and many other aspects of the Christian life. Everyone welcome!
Location: Back-left classroom of the Family Life Center - Room C.
Kingdom Path Class - You are welcome to come and join us on Sunday mornings. We are a class of pairs and spares of various ages who gather each Sunday morning to learn more about God and his Word. Dale Tedder is the teacher and you can contact him at 396-2676 or d.tedder@southsidemethodist.org.
Our meeting location is in the Family Life Center, Room A.
The S.A.L.T. Class – Sharing And Learning Together was started in 1984. It is a Bible Study Class. The group has completed several study series that are available in the United Methodist Curriculum. We believe in sharing ideas through discussion. We sit around a table, facing each other. As the leader offers his ideas about he lesson, members are encouraged to share their thoughts as well. Five or six of our class members alternate as leaders. We have a varied group of people, some married, some single. We have ongoing projects and fellowship activities. We welcome all who would like to join us.
Meeting Location: Room 202 of the Education Building.
Walk Thru The Bible Class - This class aspires to provide a thorough thematic walk along the holy highway of God's progressively revealed work of redemption beginning in Genesis and continuing through Revelation. It is a journey that takes a little over two years to complete. New walkers are welcome anywhere along the way. Daniel Webster said that "given a lifetime, no one could ever plumb the depths of truth revealed in God's holy word." We are finding that to be true. Our travel guide is Robbie Parks.
Location: Second floor meeting room accessed through church office.
