Southside Methodist Preschool is a provider of the State of Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program. This program is available for students that are age four on or by September 1. VPK is 540 hours of instruction paid by the state of Florida. This program prepares students for entry into kindergarten. Our VPK program is offered Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Four Year old students wishing to enroll in a five day pre-kindergarten program, Monday through Friday, may enroll in the VPK + 1 class. Tuition for the additional day of instruction is $100.00 per month.
- 4 day VPK class (Monday-Thursday)---Tuition paid by State of Florida
- 4 day VPK +1(Friday) -----$100.00 a month for the fifth day a week
Annual Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of $100 or $50 (for the Wee Ones-one year old class) is due at the time of enrollment.
Children enrolled in the above classes must be 1, 2, 3, or 4 years of age on or by Sept. 1.
Tuition for the first and last month of school is due by the first day of school. A five percent discount is offered for families wishing to pay tuition for the entire school year prior to the first day of school.
Students enrolled in the Voluntary Pre-kindergarten Program using Early Arrival and Extended Day services are required to pay the annual registration fee for these additional services. If these services are not used, a refund may be requested in writing. The refund request must be submitted in writing to the Preschool Office no later than the last day of the school year.
Annual Curriculum Enhancement Fee
Due in September
The annual curriculum enhancement fee is assessed dependent upon the number of days your child is enrolled. This fee covers the cost of on-campus special events and programs. This fee also provides funds needed to cover the cost of consumable materials and supplies used in the classroom to implement the curriculum.
These fees are as follows:
1 day classes=$30.00 2 day classes=$60.00 3 day classes=$70.00 4 day classes=$75.00 5 day classes=$80.00
