Please note that in order to have a wedding at Southside United Methodist Church, it is necessary for either the bride, groom, or their parents to be an active, regularly-attending church member.

Dear Prospective Bride and Groom,

We are delighted to be able to provide for you both spiritual guidance and personal assistance as you plan for your wedding day. We believe the wedding ceremony to be a celebration of love, centered on the reality of our faith in Jesus Christ.

Early in his ministry, Jesus blessed a wedding in Cana of Galilee and performed his first miracle. Because of this, the wedding ceremony has always been a sacred and holy event in the life of the church.
