When: Wednesday's, beginning August 26th

Where: Family Life Center, Southside United Methodist Church

Who: This class is open to anyone needing assistance in seeking employment, as a member of our community and/or congregation. Robin Bullock, SUMC member, and President of local chapter of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) will be teaching the class.  

Why: The loss of a job can be devastating and a lonely place. If you or a co-worker recently loss their position or if you think your position may be cut, please join us for a series of workshops designed to help you with all the resources you need to finding that next great career move.

What: These workshops will cover:

  • Resume writing
  • Understanding COBRA and Unemployment Benefits
  • Using the internet to job search
  • How to network into a new career position?
  • Interviewing skills and tough questions
